I read about the life cycle of a tree.  An important vocabulary word in my book is seedling.  It means a small root and stem.

If a chipmunk buries a see for winter and forgets about it, and it has enough water, it will grow.  There are two different kinds of trees.  You can tell by their leaves.  Some trees grow in the forest and some grow in orchards.  There are even rain forests full of trees.
